Welcome to the Sunn Museum

Sunn Musical Equipment Corporation was an amplifier manufacturer founded in 1965 in Tualatin, Oregon. The company was acquired by Fender in 1985 but ultimately went under in 2002. Today the brand is probably best known for their legendary Model T guitar amplifiers and the band Sunn O))). However, the brand has a rich history and has played an interesting role in the story of Rock and Roll, from Jimi Hendrix to Kurt Cobain.

In 2023, a conglomerate of music industry executives revived the brand under the same name. This website is mostly dedicated to Sunn's pre-revival history and products.
